Speaking after Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Bradford on Sunday, Jurgen Klopp did not rule out making a move for a left back to provide cover and competition for Andrew Robertson.

Hot prospects Adam Lewis and Yasser Larouci have played a half each in the club’s first two preseason games and have impressed.
Klopp said: “We will see. It’s not a yes, not a no. I have said already we have to think about everything and at the end maybe we do nothing. I can imagine we have a look at all the things around us. Of course, we lost a left-back but today we saw two pretty young ones, and James played it. We will see.”
Milner’s versatility certainly provides options for Klopp, whilst Gomez can fill in at left back too. Don’t be surprised to see Milner playing left back in the club’s first couple of games in the USA as Klopp weighs up his options.
