Liverpool linked with surpise move for France based forward
According to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool have been linked with a surprise move for Lyon winger Maxwell Cornet.

Having been linked with Nabil Fekir and Memphis Depay over the last 12 months, Theo Squires suggests that it is Maxwell Cornet who could be on his way to Anfield this summer, stating that: “Unlikely to break the bank to the extent of a Depay or Dembele, he fits the bill for the sort of signing Klopp is looking to make this summer.”
And Cornet has done little to dampen the rumours…in a recent interview with beIN Sports France, Cornet said: “Liverpool are a big club, any links are flattering. I’m under contract until 2021, but you never know in football so we’ll see.”

Although Cornet only made 12 starts for Lyon last season, he still managed to score 12 goals and grab 5 assists. He could be the versatile forward that Liverpool have been looking for…
